Continuing along Highway 82, you’ll be able to visit Grottos Day Use Area, Upper Grottos Campground, Independence Pass, which reaches an elevation of 12,095 feet, and many of Aspen’s mountains — including Green Mountain, Twining Peak, and Mt. Champion. Eventually, you’ll find yourself surrounded by mountain views that span miles upon miles.
